Administrative Asssistant - Basel - 80%

For our international client based in Basel, Experis is currently looking for an Administrative Assistant for a contracting position of, at least, 6 months.

General information:

- Workload: 80%

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely, accurate, and effective administrative support to assigned managers and/or their direct reports, contributing to organizational and corporate goals.
  • Maintain multiple calendars; plan, schedule and coordinate teleconferences, travel, onsite/offsite meetings.
  • Process expense reports; maintain standard tracking tools, and utilize PC software applications at the intermediate to advanced level.
  • Facilitate communications on behalf of the team ensuring key information is provided clearly, quickly and accurately.
  • Participate in and support a variety of projects. May lead a special project within job scope as appropriate.
  • Serve as a resource for the department staff and administrative team. May mentor other Administrative members and help train new team members as needed.
  • Partner with one's supervisor and other staff to maximize efficiency of work group

You bring for this role the following qualifications:

  • Demonstrates excellent customer focus skills and may serve as liaison to internal/external customers/clients including vendors/local/global business partners.
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and organize a high volume workflow and follow a project through to completion within the required timeframe, utilizing attention to detail ensuring the highest level of accuracy.
  • Aptitude to address problems and develop practical, thorough, and creative solutions without relying on precedent or supervisory review.
  • Team player with demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships throughout all levels of the organization is required.
  • Serves as a model of resourcefulness and value added creativity.
  • Must be flexible and able to manage conflicting and changing priorities.
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion with sensitive/confidential and proprietary information.
  • Excellent Communication Skills and command of written and spoken English.
  • Logistics Expertise; Knowledge of event planning and coordination, ability to use and set up technology and equipment

  • 7+ years of administrative experience and/or transferable skills.
  • BA/BS degree, senior or executive support experience and Biotech industry experience preferred.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Highly skilled in various applications such as: gMail, gCal, gDocs, and LiveLink
