Banking Operations Supporter (EN/DE)

On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for a German and English speaking Banking Operations Supporter for a 4 weeks contract. Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity with a market leading global company then please have a look at the details:

Role:

  • Provides support and acts as the day-to-day contact for incoming application forms for operational incidents.
  • Answers to the limited number of incoming, internal phone calls, with support of the team head; monitors incoming e-mails, in close collaboration with the team head.
  • Controls, checks, clarifies and forwards the daily booking applications to the Finance unit and monitors their booking.
  • Provides responses to simpler type of queries raised by e-mail; writes e-mails on instruction of the team head, and captures cases in the respective Database.
  • Performs checks to ensure that regular and small incident cases are reported and processed in line with the respective policies and guidelines (e.g. approvals by management in place, description of case).
  • Execute special or ad-hoc tasks on behalf of the team head.

Skills:

  • Personal and Social
    • Positive, motivated and flexible team player with high integrity, diligent and discrete with an eye for details and good quality awareness; solution and service orientated.
    • Good communication skills; able to work on instructions of the team head (direct superior).
    • Preliminary understanding of the various banking businesses and products; able to comprehend specific situations/incidents and to comprehend the problem and respond to the requesting parties for standard/small cases.

  • Professional and Technical
    • Commercial/Banking apprenticeship and/or equal education in Banking/Financial Industry; preferably with knowledge of Private Banking, Risk Management or Finance.
    • Good language skills (German and English); other languages a plus.
