Commercial Contracts Manager

For this temporary assignment based in Zurich we are in search of an English-speaking candidate who is available in a short notice. Overview of the project:

  • Ensure compliance with the GDPR and negotiate variations with suppliers
  • Manage the General Terms & Conditions and relevant applicable commercial documentation in cooperation with Legal/ CM
  • Analyse prime contract terms to highlight areas of potential opportunity and risk, such as ambiguities, omissions and conflicts in cooperation with Legal
  • Ensure both contract parties have fulfilled their contractual obligations and there are no responsibilities outstanding
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of commercial aspects in portfolio of contracts
  • Ensure the portfolio of supply contracts in the business follows contract and claim management methodologies in accordance with internal standard procedures
  • Develop contract strategy based on policies, customer requirements and the overall execution strategy taking into account risk, pricing and schedule

The skills and experience needed for this position are:

  • Proven experience of implementation of GDPR requirements
  • Legal degree
  • Long experience in legal/ contract management role
  • Very good experience in Legal review of global agreements
  • Strong experience in communication with senior stakeholders
  • SME in contractual documents: answering the queries, clarifying the usage of templates
  • Periodic revision&updates of General Terms&Conditions and relevant commercial documentation in cooperation with Legal/CM
  • Provision of the Face-2-Face legal trainings to the PL Community in cooperation with Legal/ CM
  • Creation&updates of the processes and guidelines in contract management&legal area
  • Drive&support (in cooperation with CM&Legal) related transformational change and improvement initiatives within PG P&L function (i.e. digitalization/ CM platform/ tool, creation of new templates&supporting documents)
  • Experience in direct contracts negotiation in English language
  • Proven ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines for project related and non-project related tasks
  • Good team player and keen on taking new and diverse tasks/ assignments
  • Experience working in international environment
  • Strong project management and people leadership skills and experience
  • Excellent oral and written effective communications skills in English, other languages are an advantage
