Communications Manager

Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for an experienced Communications Manager to join one of their clients, a well-known company. For this temporary assignment based in Zürich, we are in search of an English speaking candidate who is available in a short notice.

Project details: This role has the following key pillars: Event organization, coordination of media production and administrative support.
Collaboration with other communications teams is expected to ensure that initiatives can be synergized, synchronized and leveraged wherever possible

Major responsibilities:

  • Organization of leadership meetings and conferences- e.g. Extended Leadership Conference, including content development, logistics, manging guest lists
  • Organization of local and global townhalls in collaboration with local communicators
  • Organization of WebEx conferences and global video broadcasts in collaboration with local communicators and IT
  • Planning and tracking of articles, translations, videos in collaboration with internal and external authors and suppliers
  • Creation and maintenance of intranet pages and Yammer channels
  • Creation and tracking of purchase orders, travel arrangements, manging invoices, budget administration etc.

Your profile:

  • 5-7 years' experience in a communications role preferably in the pharmaceutical industry or in an agency
  • Education: Degree in communications, journalism, corporate affairs or similar
  • Excellent visual graphic design skills and artwork production processes,
  • Agency management
  • Experience working in a corporate environment/ matrix organization
  • High proficiency as a multitasker and project/event manager
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to perform under tight deadlines keeping calm
  • Ability to navigate a change environment
  • Cultural sensitivity/experience and adaptability working cross functionally in a multi-cultural environment
  • Creative and proactive thinker and solution oriented mind-set
  • Experience in using digital tools, e.g. SharePoint, Yammer, Excel, PowerPoint
  • English - Fluent written and spoken, German is an advantage

Location: Zurich, Switzerland
Start Date: End of January
Duration: 6 months contract
