HR IT Communication Specialist

One of the biggest international pharmaceutical companies is looking for a HR IT Communication Specialist. This is a challenging contracting position starting in January 2019 for 3 months in Kaiseraugst, Switzerland.

Job summary

My client has several strategic initiatives upcoming in the HR-IT area, where stakeholders on local, global, regional and functional level need to be aligned. Therefore, they need professional communication support to ensure that they engage around key goals and messages across the organization and ensure buy-in for projects and investments which are being prepared now. The audience are senior stakeholders on leadership level, however, they need communication to a larger audience as well.

Your tasks & responsibilities

Support the project preparation with communication support, especially translation of messages and strategic goals into presentations and potentially videos. Engaging with various stakeholders to ensure the buy-in into the storylines and goals articulated in the communication material:

  • Gather current situation from colleagues in the team to translate into communication and storylines
  • Improve existing communication material like presentations to work out the objective and/or storyline
  • Translation technical IT / HR speech into business speech
  • Improve language used in existing presentations
  • Coach junior staff in communication skills
  • Develop comprehensive communication strategy

What you must have

  • Prior experience in communication, ideally in an HR and / or IT environment
  • Ability to express complex situations in simple, easily comprehensible messages
  • Able to coach junior staff
  • Excellent English skills

What is nice to have

  • HR or IT background
  • Exposure in native English countries or in a professional, English speaking environment
  • Corporate experience in a multinational company
  • Experience in complex organizations
