IS Internal Communications Manager



Experis is urgently looking for an IS Internal Communications Manager so assist one of their major clients in Zurich, a global Engineering company with an excellent brand. For this role we are looking for an English speaking professional with relevant experience in a similar role to start as soon as possible working full time on site for a period of six months with a high possibility of extension.

Knowledge, Experience and skills:

  • University level education preferably in communications field. Further education qualifications in leadership, coaching, management disciplines appreciated.
  • An experienced business communicator with strong writing, editing, verbal skills.
  • A solid mix of business skills & communication expertise.
  • International, multi-cultural experience.
  • IS communication experience
  • Experience in/knowledge of stakeholder management and project prioritization
  • At least 3 years experience in delivering best practice internal communications as a manager or consultant or equivalent professional experience
  • At least 2 years experience in working in a multinational organization at the global headquarters
  • Demonstrated abilities project development and relationship building.
  • Knowledge across disciplines and solid understanding of different business and interconnected disciplines
  • Proven ability in setting priorities, coordination, planning and execution skills.
  • Extremely flexible mind-set to anticipate needs, changes, react and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Familiarity with various types of communications media and knowledge of appropriate application
  • Track record of internal communications strategy, planning, tactics, execution and measurement.
  • Understanding the interdependence of different parts of the business.
  • Understanding of complex organizations and ability to operate in a global environment taking into account regional and local considerations.
  • Solid understanding of the business value of engagement and key engagement drivers.
