Office space enhancement consultant

The Candidate will report directly to the Asset Manager also in charge of office logistics and space optimisation. S/he will work closely with the rest of the team (Administration Manager, Facility Manager and Security manager) and with project teams where appropriate.

The consultant should analyse the daily occupancy of areas defined as green zones, libraries as well as open working spaces and provide options for space occupation optimisation within the constraints of the total occupancy set by 'permis d'occupation'.

Responsibilities include :-

- Complete all required audits and schieve targets

- Analyse and cross reference the data, feedback and quantitative data regarding workplace optimisation and proposed implementation plan

- Issue a report, identifying any successes key targets, risks and mitigating measures

- Design a concept for repurposing the library and green zone areas, and maybe optimise other areas (e.g. workshops), including recommendation for reducing technical and operational constraints

- Define budget scenarios taking into consideration value for money

To deliver the required results, it's essential that you have:

  • Advanced university degree in architecture, building construction and/or interior design with relevant experience in the development of office space concept for organizations between 500-2'000 staff.
  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience in office space enhancements and building construction area.
  • Fluent in English and French (written and oral).
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver a consistent, trusted, fully accountable project
  • Strong analytical and problems solving abilities
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, proactivity and coordination skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in-time and under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, looking for collective and individual performance.
  • Source of proposal, solutions and results oriented. Strong listening skills and empathy towards teams.
  • Ability to interact with people of different nationalities, cultures and background, at all levels.
  • Knowledge of best practice.
