On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for a Senior KYC File Review Specialist with proven experience in a Client Facing / Risk / Compliance function in private wealth management. Are you a passionate Senior KYC File Review Specialist who is looking for a new and exciting challenge? If yes, then please have a look at the details below:

Main responsibilities:

  • Perform KYC documentation reviews on the banks AML/KYC standards, as part of a remediation programme to improve documentation standards across private banking teams
  • Ensure that appropriate Know Your Client (KYC) information and documentation is on file
  • Respond to requests raised by the Relationship Manager
  • Raise potential documentation shortfalls with the relevant Relationship Manager or escalate to relevant Line Manager
  • Regular meetings with Relationship Managers and Assistants as well as Line Mangers and Project Management
  • If required, provide 1:1 Trainings to Relationship Manager's to train & explain the KYC documentation requirements & process

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' private wealth management experience, in a Client Facing / Risk / Compliance function
  • Sound knowledge of the Swiss and international AML/KYC best-practice and client documentation standards (CDB, AMLA, AMLO etc.)
  • Detailed knowledge of Customer Due Diligence requirements
  • Specific LatAm Market knowledge
  • Sound organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to complete high volumes of client files to an excellent standard
  • Excellent communication skills (interaction with Relationship Managers)
  • German and/or English a must-have, any additional language, in particular Spanish and/or Portuguese, is a plus
