Service and Administrative Assistant

Experis is currently supporting our global client with their exciting project at a client site near Zurich, a relaxing 15 minute commute from central Zurich.

For this Service and Administrative Assistant role we are looking for a candidate who comes with hospitality experience and a high end service orientated mind to join our clients team in Baden. This role will come with a broad range of tasks including service and administrative responsabilities. We are looking for a professional, well presented and fluent German speaking individual to start as soon as possible in this exciting opportunity.

This job will initially start as an 8 month contract but there are opportunities for an extension and even a permanent fixture in this or other roles within the team.

What background do you need to successfully do the job?

  • Completed vocational training in the service/hospitality sector
  • Professional experience in the hospitality industry (Hotel Reception, Airline Industry)
  • High flair for technology, experience with video conferencing and technical devices in conferences rooms
  • Native language German, excellent command English speaking and writing
  • Perfect appearance and etiquette
  • Self-initiative and solution driven personality
  • Strong customer orientation, professionalism and reliability

Which tasks are you expected to deliver?

  • Supporting employees and their visitors and guests with the use of conference rooms and related facilities
  • Providing assistance with room bookings and visitor announcements
  • Ensuring kitchen facilities and conference rooms are tidy
  • Overseeing various building facilities and related activities (conference rooms, quiet rooms, shared printing stations, kitchens, drinking water dispensers, catering support, clearing away crockery, etc.).
  • Supporting employees with technical equipment used in conference rooms (video conferencing and skype for business calls)
  • Coordinating and supporting beverage and lunch services
  • Assisting with courier service inquiries, e.g. from DHL, Fedex etc.
  • Supporting Executive Assistants with specific tasks
  • Providing and maintaining a small selection of stationary for employees
  • Being a member of the evacuation and first aid team
